To: The United African American Ministerial Action Counsel:

Thank you for the opportunity to look at our organization which helps people transition into a new life. However, to do so we need some funding and resources to get the organization off the ground and sustain for the success of meeting the needs of our clients with the services that we provide.

Predestine Transitional Living is a unique initiative that offers a fresh start to individuals such as recovering drug addicts, parolees, and veterans transitioning into civilian life. Our role in the community is distinct, and we are committed to helping these individuals make a successful transition.

Our organization’s work has a significant impact on the community. We assist individuals in obtaining legal documents such as a photo ID and support them in entering the workforce. This not only benefits the individuals we serve but also contributes to the overall well-being of the community.

To provide these services to the people who come to us for transitioning, we also need support and assistance to build a foundation. With a strong foundation, we can create a transformative organization where people can evolve into the person they were predestined to be.

Being grass root organization and I myself having a colorful past history. My experiences have led me to this place where I understand an am Intimately connected and aware of challenges facing, families, youth, and agencies of 92102, 92113, 92114, and 92139, 21.2 square miles and have a population density of 9,285.7 people per square mile. We are boots on the ground.

Not only will Predestine Transitional Living assist those impacted by justice. But will also take a leading role in holding meeting focused on Youth Diversion. We have certified creditable messengers, to share their real-life experiences to help our youth make better choices in their day to day living. How? By having monthly peer to peer support groups meeting to build relationships. Based on solid commitment from those who have lived experiences and willing to share. It works and we’re seeking support and resources to walk along beside Predestined Transitional Living House.

Once again, we are truly grateful for your time and consideration. Your support is invaluable to us as we strive to meet the needs of others. We look forward to the possibility of collaborating with you. If you have any questions or inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact me at 619-218-5550.

Warm Regards,

Larry Blackman
